Canadian Gold Medalist joins Superior Tofu!
Canadian Olympic Gold Medallist Carol Huynh is the new face of Superior Tofu! The local Vancouver soyfoods manufacturer couldn’t be more excited to have the high profile Olympian on board.
According to Rita Cheng, GM of Superior Tofu, Huynh’s popularity will not only bring attention to their brand but also focus onto the company’s non-profit Superior Tofu Community Fund established in 2007.

Cheng says it was a perfect partnership for Superior Tofu and Huynh, the spunky BC born wrestler who made headlines around the world after capturing Canada’s first gold medal at the Beijing Summer Olympics last August.
“As a dedicated high performance athlete, Carol is careful of what she puts in her body, and our Superior Tofu products have the right amount of protein, iron and calcium for her training needs, “ Cheng explains. “You couldn’t get a better role model to represent your company than Carol, plus she’s just so inspiring and real; a very sincere, down-to-earth person who consumes our soy products on a regular basis.”
Huynh is equally excited about the partnership that lies ahead, and says she is really looking forward to a long and strong relationship with Superior Tofu.
“I feel like I am joining a family,” Huynh explains. “Our values are very similar in that we both strive for excellence and we are passionate about what we do. Quality is something that is important to both myself and the family at Superior Tofu, so we are a perfect fit!”
In addition to an Olympic gold medal, Huynh packs a powerful resume as an eight-time Canadian senior champion along with gold medal winning performances at the 2007 Pan American Games and 2005 World University Games.
