Fried Tofu with Garlic and Green Onion
A common tofu dish in Chinese families. This dish can be served with rice.
- 1/2 pkg Superior Fresh Medium Firm Tofu (700g) or 1 pkg Superior Organic Medium Firm (330g)
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 stalk green onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 tbs olive oil
Cut tofu into square or rectangular shapes. Heat olive oil in a pan until hot and fry garlic until golden. Add tofu, turning the heat down. Pan fry both sides until golden - be careful not to break the tofu when flipping. Add soy sauce and water. Cook for five minutes and add green onions at the end. Ready to serve. Makes 4 servings.
