Wild Smoky Tofu Pâté Loaf

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg  Savory Pressed Tofu, crumbled 
  • ¾ cup  organic wild rice 
  • 2 cups  water
  • ¼ cup  whole-wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp  engevita yeast
  • 1 tsp  garlic powder
  • 1 tsp  dried herbs (thyme, oregano, sage)
  • 2 tbsp  soy sauce
  • ½ cup  onions, diced

Add water to wild rice, bring to a boil and simmer for about 1 hour, or until tender. Preheat the oven to 350F. Brown the onions, then add in tofu and rice, mixing well. Add the rest of the ingredients to the mixture. Press into a greased meat loaf pan. Bake for 40 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan, before turning it out onto a plate.
