Wild Smoky Tofu Pâté Loaf
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg Savory Pressed Tofu, crumbled
- ¾ cup organic wild rice
- 2 cups water
- ¼ cup whole-wheat flour
- 1 tbsp engevita yeast
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried herbs (thyme, oregano, sage)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ cup onions, diced
Add water to wild rice, bring to a boil and simmer for about 1 hour, or until tender. Preheat the oven to 350F. Brown the onions, then add in tofu and rice, mixing well. Add the rest of the ingredients to the mixture. Press into a greased meat loaf pan. Bake for 40 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan, before turning it out onto a plate.
