Simple Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg (300g) Superior Soft Tofu, well-drained
- 1 medium clove garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoon parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoon romano cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoon soy or olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients. Blend until creamy - for about 30 seconds on high. Heat sauce and serve over cooked pasta such as spinach linguine.
Note: The cheese makes this recipe slightly less than guilt-free. If desired, experiment and reduce the amount of cheese.
